FAQ

SEEDSTOCK IS AN ALL-AGES FESTIVAL
MUST BE 21+ TO CONSUME ALCOHOL

Tickets

We offer a limited amount of tickets each year due to exceedingly higher demand and limited space.  We highly encourage purchasing pre-sale tickets to ensure access!  We'll be offering an array of ticket packages for the festival to help accommodate your needs.

Volunteering
We are so grateful to the many people who work behind the scenes to make this weekend as enjoyable as possible. Volunteer positions are filled on a first come first serve basis.

Merchandise

Each year we roll out new editions of Seedstock merchandise to be purchased during the festival.  Seedstock VIII will certainly be no exception!  We will have a selection of t-shirts, koozies and items like frisbees, stickers, and posters. We tend to sell out quickly, as we have a limited supply.  You can pick up your purchase at any time during the festival.  If special arrangements need to be made to exchange your purchase, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Should you bring cans or bottles?

NO GLASS PLEASE!

After the festival each year we collect all the recyclables with deposits and donate them to the Cortland Youth Bureau for their music program. So far we have raised well over $1000 to put instruments in the hands of our youth through this effort. The kind folks whose efforts make this contribution happen would like to ask that when making the decision on whether to buy cans or bottles that you purchase cans.  Glass bottles are much more difficult to work with and pose too much of a hazard if they break.  Our security team will be at the check-in table to help enforce the no-glass policy this year.

Food and Drinks

Food concessions will be available throughout the festival.  This is a BYOB event, no alcohol will be sold.

Kid Friendly!
YES! We want people of all ages to feel welcomed and have a great time, especially the young ones. So, if you are wondering if your kids are welcome, consider this their formal invitation! We want the kids to have a great time listening to great local bands and enjoying the day. Plus, kids 12 and under have free admittance.

Pets or no pets?

No pets please.  As much as we all love our four-legged friends, we ask that you leave them at home.  Only service animals will be allowed.

Parking & Directions

The parking areas are extremely limited.  There are numerous taxi companies on call throughout the day and the Red Jug Pub's van is a great option for grabbing a pint and a ride from downtown Cortland before or after the festivities.

You may also want to consider meeting at a location nearby where 24 hour parking is allowed (Price Chopper, Kmart) and carpool together.

We ask that if you are able to carpool please do!!

The address of Seedstock is 3336 Route 215 Cortland, NY 13045.  Look for signs when coming up the hill. Parking will be on the same side of the road as the festival.

We will have taxi cab #'s and the Red Jug van for you if you find yourselves unable to safely drive home. So please be responsible and leave your cars here overnight while you enjoy yourself and call a taxi or find a designated driver home.

Camping

Camping passes will be limited and sold on a first come first serve basis.  More information on camping rules and regulations can be found on this website under the "festival" navigation tab or by clicking HERE

Finally, and most important, welcome to our home!

Yes, for one weekend this spot will be turned into a special place where many many people gather to celebrate music, life, and our community, and we welcome you with open arms! But remember that this is also our home, and we ask that all of you treat it, and grounds around it, with the utmost respect :-)
